Over the course of his 30-year career in physical therapy, Tom fulfilled his calling to serve others through active-duty service in the US Army and the US Public Health Service (USPHS). The uniformed service gave Tom the opportunity to serve soldiers and underserved communities, as well as to build leadership skills. Demonstrating leadership, professionalism, responsibility, integrity, and exceptional customer service enabled Tom to achieve the rank of USPHS Captain (equivalent to US Army Colonel) upon his retirement.

Seeking a new challenge while still serving others, Tom established Servant Property Solutions of Iowa. In this new arena, Tom strives to educate those involved in buying and selling properties on strategies that best serve them. Tom has attacked this new career with the same degree of professionalism, integrity, and customer service that led to his uniformed service success.  Furthermore, to offer the best possible service to his customers, Tom has partnered with a well-established community of real estate investors with decades of experience and shared values. These values include integrity, honesty, and incredible customer service.

Having lived in 6 different states over the course of his career, Tom fully understands the stress involved in buying and selling a home. He understands the challenge of finding the right person to assist with buying and selling, feeling stressed about selling at a price that will cover a mortgage and realtor fees, and doing it all in a timeframe that fits with deadlines. Understanding these challenges and the limitations to conventional real estate sales is what prompted Tom to find other, proven ways to buy and sell properties. Joining a like-minded, highly successful, and creative group of real estate investors has opened a wide range of opportunities for Tom to continue serving others.

Tom is accredited by the Creative Finance Real Estate Association and the Better Business Bureau. He continually strives to improve his real estate transaction skills by attending workshops, completing personal growth and leadership training, as well as learning from those in his community who have truly excelled at their craft.
